I saw you from across the room
my eyes fixated on you
got brave with a few drinks
and dared to ask for a dance
On my feet all night
I had the time of my life
then we had to go separate ways
but i knew this couldn't end like this
Not brave enough to utter the words
I bid you goodbye not knowing whats next
I wanted to know you more and explore
and find out what could come out differently
But you were much braver then I
you walked up and offered me a ride
I took the offer like life depended on it
and I swear it was the best thing I ever did
